He does his part, answers his questions, supports his son in any way that he can. After, a woman with bright green hair emerges from behind a screen and congratulates him; I can see where Peeta gets his charm!

  9. #004: Johanna lost more than her family when she refused to submit to Snow’s demands. Her father died in an accident involving a wood chipper at the lumber mill. A couple weeks later, her mother was said to have gotten food poisoning. In an attempt to stop the Capitol citizens from requesting her attentions, she and her betrothed went public with their engagement and took under their wing her three younger siblings. Not long after that, Johanna woke up to all three children bound, beaten, and strung up on an oak tree in her backyard. When her fiancé refused to call off the engagement and started arguing with Snow himself, she found him reclining on the wood chopping block outside of her Victor’s house, her ax in the side of his neck. She was arrested for all six murders, and found innocent on all counts by the District 7 court, who pitied her. Angry and broken, she had nothing left to lose.

  17. Do you ever get mad that Peeta is always so nice/sensitive aside from his hijacking? Would you prefer if he was more like Gale sometimes?

    I don’t get mad, I get frustrated. Peeta can be so unconditionally sweet when I have a breakdown, that I feel incompetent when it comes to be my turn to comfort him… Especially when he will have nothing to do with me.

    That said, I like Peeta very much the way he is, and as cheesy as it sounds, I wouldn’t want him to change. Gale is my best friend and a brother. He’s stressful and aggravating, but we care about each other. That said, we wouldn’t be able to live in the same house for longer than a few hours.
